The New JLPT from 2010 Since 2010, the levels have changed and there are no longer any official lists - see a Comparison of New and Old Tests . For more information, see the JLPT Wiki Page . I use past exams, because they’re still useful - even if the format is changing slightly over the years. Background I passed the old level 4 in (2004) and then level 3 (2005), and started to create web pages by translating sentences from past exams, as part of my study regime.
